RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Thanks for shopping with Sun Supply PV, LLC. We want to make sure you have a rewarding experience while you’re exploring, evaluating, and purchasing products from our website.

Return Window: 30 Days You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive your product to return it. Please contact Customer Support first to request a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number before shipping anything back.

All physical products must be returned in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, and documentation that shipped with the product. Items must be unused and in resalable condition. If approved, we will exchange the item or issue a refund to your original payment method (excluding shipping charges).

BUYER’S REMORSE

How to request a refund prior to shipping: Contact us at support@sunsuppv.com or call 888.764.2588 (9am–4:30pm Pacific). Please have your invoice # ready.

How to request a return and refund after shipping: Within 30 calendar days of receipt, contact Customer Support to get your RMA number. You must ship the product back to the appropriate Sun Supply PV order center within those same 30 calendar days from receipt.

NOTE – Sun Supply PV recommends that you:

  • Use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns.
  • Insure your package for safe return to Sun Supply PV or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are completely protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit.
  • If you choose not to (1) use a carrier that offers tracking and (2) insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.

A refund will be processed within 2 weeks of receipt of the product at Sun Supply PV. Sun Supply PV reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 15% to recoup shipping and labor costs.

Please note that Sun Supply PV does not permit the return of, or offer refunds for, the following:

  • Any installed products
  • Solar Permit Plan Drawings
  • Products obtained as part of a bundle with other equipment
  • Products distributed by another company
  • Products obtained by any customer in any country other than the United States
  • Shipping charges
  • Credit Card and/or PayPal service charges, typically 3%
  • Any other services provided by Sun Supply PV

DEFECTIVE & DAMAGED ITEMS

Prior to installation: If the customer discovers what is believed to be a defect in any product, please contact Sun Supply PV as soon as possible. Sun Supply PV will cover return shipping and send out an exchange.

After installation: It becomes a product warranty issue, and the customer will need to contact the manufacturer for a warranty claim. All warranties are through manufacturers.

Items damaged in shipping are covered by our shipping insurance. Please inspect all items at the time of delivery and notate any damage or potential damage with the delivery driver, making sure it is written as such on the delivery paperwork that you sign. If you sign without a damage or possible damage notation, you are agreeing that you have received the shipment in good condition. If signed for in good condition, any damage will not be covered by shipping insurance, and Sun Supply PV will not be able to replace the damaged item at no cost.

IF RECEIVING SOLAR MODULES (PANELS): Upon receiving your delivery from the freight carrier, the customer must notate on the paperwork “Pending inspection for internal damage” even if everything looks perfect. This will give us recourse with the carrier for a freight claim if you unpack your pallet and find damage after delivery. The customer must inspect all products for damage within 48 hours.
