Compatible with most models of standby generators and applicable for new or retrofit installations, the Generator Module connects and charges the aPower X battery while also powering home loads. It works with two-wire or utility sense standby generators, with or without an automatic transfer switch.

With automatic and manual operating modes, you can easily manage the Generator Module via the FranklinWH app. In automatic mode, set the aPower X battery State of Charge (SoC) limits for the generator to start and stop while the FHP system intelligently controls power sources to balance the generator and battery. In manual mode, remotely start and stop the generator according to your household’s needs.
